Tasty Majanos and Hangers-On

The raccoon is putting the beatdown to the majanos. He hasn't gotten them all yet, I bet he's maybe got about 20% but the rest are cowering in fear. Literally, they're kind of hard to find as they're crammed back into the rocks and aren't out in the light as much as they were.

The powder blue tang has finally settled down and the raccoon can now travel the full length of the tank. Although those two days he lived under the wavebox he ate all the majanos, hydroids and a couple featherdusters. If he could just eat the rest of the hydroids too, that would be awesome.

Now the bad news. I was looking at him tonight and noticed that he hadn't escaped unscathed and saw what looked like small marks on both sides of him, as well as some ratty looking fins. Turns out they're flukes. F&*k! I guess this is what I get for not quarantining, or at least FW dipping on entry to the tank. I'm usually pretty careful with where I buy from but I guess not careful enough. The LFS said they did a methylene blue dip but turns out thats one of the weakest and not the most effective dips for various ectoparasitic issues (flukes, velvet etc). I'm not sure how the hell I'm going to get the fish out of there or whether I can drop the whole tank salinity and to what point do I have to drop it? Thank god for the internets. Hopefully they have the answer :S
