Yay new bulbs! I got a smokin deal on some used bulbs so finally my tank isn't so pee yellow on one side anymore. I got another set of Ushio 10K's same as I had previously. So the tank looks like this. I've also bought some XM's from a group buy that our reef club did but people seem to be slow in paying so the order hasn't been put through yet. No sense in waitin if you don't have to! ;)
Ah yes and photos of those new frags :)
highlighter yellow acro
purply green acro
blue green acro
another blue green acro (this one was heavily hit by an acro eating crab and only lately has started to show new growth. After a landslide this weekend I accidentally "topped" it and this is the tip. The rest is mostly algae but there is a new section starting so I suppose I'll leave it for now).
pink "table" I bought this one hoping it was a "table" acro. So far its started to recede and has lost most of its pink color. I guess we'll see how it does.
blue acro I couldn't resist this one, it was such a deep blue color. Its faded somewhat but I'm sure it will return to its former glory.
volunteer pocilipora? I'm not sure if this is a frag I jammed in a hole or a volunteer from the rocky depths. It doesn't look like any other poci's I have in my tank. Much more yellowy and it has rounded tips. Odd.
bright yellow polyped cap this cap is kind of blah which makes the bright yellow polyps all the more interesting. The photo doesn't really show it well but they sure are gorgeous and wouldn't be as well seen if the rest of the cap was as bright.
Nano update: well there are flatworms EVERYWHERE, friggin grape caulerpa (how'd that get in there?!?) and now I'm hearing a clicking noise emanating from the tank. Pistol or Mantis? Who knows. The tank needs a good reworking and perhaps a flatworm exit treatment. Thank god its a small tank. I don't think I could handle two large tanks with issues :p
No pics. The tank is too embarassing to show.
