Woohoo! I got my Ice Cap 660 back and dang!why didn't I buy one of these years ago?? The tank looks absolutely AWESOME!!! Here it is without VHO and with VHO. Ya I know I still need to work on getting that tank background stuff. Baby steps :P I still think I'd like to get new ballasts and 10000K bulbs, I'm really loving the blue. But right now enough of the yellow is gone that I'm not in such a hurry as I was before.

My corals are *finally* coloring up. About bloody time I say. I was actually thinking about putting the rowaphos back on my tank but I've upgraded my refugium to a 25 gallon tank so I'll see how many different macroalgaes I can cram in there. So far I've got chaetomorpha, Caulerpa prolifera, Caulerpa racemosa and some Halimeda. I'd like to get some of that red Halymenia again, that stuff sure is pretty. Hopefully what I've got in there will be good nutrient export and I won't need the rowaphos anyways.

Alrighty now on to the photos!!!

This one came to me a bit damaged, two of the smaller branches must have had a little war with something as both were completely dead but a smaller offshoot was okay. I haven't really noticed a ton of growth on this one but the polyps on it are awesome!

I swear I have waited FOREVER for this acroto hurry up and do something. Its been a nondescript pale brown for almost 5 months now and finally I can see its starting to get some purple on the tips. I can't wait to see how it turns out!

I got this blue tip acro from a friend of mine who had it under 175W MH. It was quite brown and even though I put it on the bottom of the tank it quickly bleached out and I thought it was a goner. Gradually the color came back and its been growing slowly (like everything else in my tank) and is looking pretty good now.

I just love this hairy acro, the polyps are insane on it. They're constantly waving in the current. Its always been a rather weird greenish yellow but now I can see its starting to get a bit of purple in it as well. Should be interesting to see its growth as it doesn't have very well defined corallites.

I bought this acro when I was restocking my tank in May. I went on sort of a buying spree and while they weren't super colorful, I was mostly interested in growth patterns and polyps. This one caught my eye for some reason and is now a beautiful irridescent green with blue tips.

This green acro I'm wondering if it isn't a slimer of some sort. I got this from my friend Rich who said to guard it with my life (or something along those lines :P). Unfortunately the camera doesn't pick up on the vivid neon green yellow that it is in person. Finally after months you can see its starting to grow a little nubbin out of the top of it.

This one is definitely a slimer of some sort, probably a green slimer, only its bright yellow in my tank. It took its own sweet time encrusting at the base and I didn't think it was ever gonna grow and then one day it just sort of took off.

This blue acro was about 1/2" tall when I got it. I wasn't leaving the store without it even when the guy sort of waffled on it. Its without a doubt my favorite as its held its color all this time, even though it hasn't grown much (but it has a huge encrusted base as you can see).
