Well its been a busy couple of weeks for the tank. Things are coloring up nicely with the addition of the VHO ballast. At least I think thats whats doing it. I got a few new additions from Ontario that I drooled over for at least 30 seconds before emailing the guy a message with my various demands for corals ;) I got 6 gorgeous frags: a purple table acro which I didn't notice was a table and mounted improperly, I've been told it should be fine although its a finicky one.
Another purple acro that looks just incredible in the photo the guy posted, I can't wait to see it look like that in my tank.
An absolutely GORGEOUSpink milli that I stare at EVERY DAY! Its just breathtaking in person. My camera just doesn't do it justice.
This blue stag is freaking unreal. Unfortunately I mounted it sort of backwards and the really staggeringly blue part is facing the back of the tank (yes, I know. SMRT.) The blue tips are still pretty striking to look at.
This green acro may not look like much but its gonna be something in a few weeks. I can already see it starting to color up and the polyps are pretty cool on it.
I have been wanting a pink table for ages and now I finally have one! It has amazingly long polyps that fling about in the current.
So I got those just over a week ago. I was trying to calm down with the tank purchases and I even attempted to go shopping at a mall but then we drove past a new fish store and well I just had to stop. Lucky I did because they had some terrific ricordea. I got an orange one that has two mouths and looks like its just about to split. I had one of these before my last tank switch but I don't know where it ended up and I was quite sad to find that I had misplaced it. I also got two green rics on the same rock. They have a little hint of orange on them and were a terrific deal so I couldn't possibly pass them up!
