A second contingent of snails was brought in. The first group was doing a bang up job but they tended to stick more to parts that had already been cleaned (who can blame them, its a jungle in there). The second group is hungry and they're already making a dent in the uneaten parts. I have to admit, I got in there myself and scraped what I could off the glass. It looks much better but the damned stuff is still all over the rock. I picked some off but its like picking at air and gets everywhere.
As for the caulerpa. Gawd, this stuff is just relentless. I spent four and a half hours picking the stuff off the rocks on Monday. Oh the quality time you spend with your tank. If anyone has any suggestions on caulerpa eaters, send me an email to seamonkey68@hotmail.com
