Hmm, its been awhile since I posted last so I thought I'd give you all an update (all 3 of you that probably read this :P). The dinos once again were starting to run rampant so it was lights out again. I don't have many corals so really what do I have to lose anyway. This time I did 6 days under absolute and complete darkness. So far so good although I'm not holding my breath that they're gone forever. There's been just too much rah-rah on this site and then they come back the little *(@!%$s!!
Other than that all is well. I'm thinking that if I have indeed managed to get rid of the algae (the hair algae is still there but I'm not too worried at this point) that I do need a cleanup crew. So far I have one blue legged hermit and I think a single turbo snail. I used to have 2 but I haven't seen the other one. I'm hoping he turns up somewhere. Anyway, I could use a few more astreas I think. I'm still on the fence about those bloody hermit crabs (they just don't seem to do anything except finish off my snails when they fall off stuff).
