Not much new really, still have the cyano and green slime algae problem. The slime algae returned to its former glory, not sure what is up with that. Its still a funky rust color but healthier looking. I did a big turkey baste last night and got it away from most of the corals, course its back again today. The green slime grows like crazy. I'm trying a Zeovit Coral Snow/Brighwell Microbacter7 combo, some people have had success with that. The biopellets aren't doing a bloody thing IMO. I guess I should be more patient but its seems its not one of my virtues.
Fish are doing well, fat and sassy. The ick has subsided somewhat, in that the lavender is still the most affected but the regal is almost clean. I can live with that. Still feeding huge amounts of garlic. Its kind of revolting, certainly not that pleasant garlic smell that suddenly makes you crave steak or something. That Brightwell Garlic Power practically makes me gag.
Got a few new corals:
Hawkins Echinata (wheeee!)
30,000 Leagues Lokani
Oregon Tort
