Finally got the light rack up after a typical night of DIY. You know, those nights when the drill is half dead, you can't find anything and then you realize you've measured all wrong and have to do extra work to make it fit? Got it done though and it looks great!
I put in a radium bulb to see how it looked, I'm really liking the color. I bought the bulbs used and they don't have much time left on them (I think they're about 8+ months old or so) but its a good way of seeing whether the color is nice or not. They make my ushios look piss yellow.
In other news, my new melanurus wrasse died. I was pretty upset about that, he didn't even last a week. Oddest thing, he was swimming around in the morning then dead when I got home from work. He ate practically right after being acclimated too. Nuts :(
Anyway, I'm hoping to get the lights moved over tomorrow night, then the livestock on Friday. Wish me luck! ;)
