The tissue recession is back on one bali "colony" and two frags that I clipped the bottoms off. Oh well, I guess you can't beat mother nature. Its some slow recession (well on one its quick then stops), so we'll see how it goes.
I've kind of lost interest in the big tank and as my coping mechanism, I've set up my new nano! It looks amazing. Much like every other tank that is newly setup: nice clean water, nice sparkling white sand. I've put it on my computer desk and I just stare at it all day. Now this is what reefing is all about.
So I did take some pics of the plumbing (which is ridiculously simple, yet complex). And the aquascaping. I even managed to wait a whole day before I stuffed it full of zoos and ricordeas from my "rescue" tank. The rock was from my sump, I bought it a couple of months ago in anticipation of getting this project going. I figured that way any critters that were in it could come out and because of the lack of light in the sump, any algae could just die die die!
Here's a close up of the tank. I'll post more pics of the livestock when photobucket finishes its site maintenance :)
