Ok so we're at just over 2 weeks with the ozonizer running and I'm not seeing anything fabulous happening. Those frags that I clipped and remounted seem to be faring well and I'm not seeing any more tissue recession. Those that I didn't clip are still having troubles and a couple have come to a complete halt and are trying to regrow tissue over the affected area. Maybe the ozonizer really is working?? Beats me, its not doing crap all for the algae situation. Baby steps I suppose.
Well my newest project is a 7.5 gallon nano. It has a chamber in the back to hide junk, kind of like an overflow. The main tank is about 5 gallons worth of water by my calculations. A friend of mine custom made it for me but he based it off the TruVu 6 gallon nano cube. Its a pretty impressive tank actually. Photos are here and here. I got a nice little coralife 2x18w CF unit to light it and I'm going to put sand in it *gasp*. I'm determined to have a successful reef tank with sand! We'll see how long that lasts :P Anyway, I have to go get a bulkhead for it tomorrow. I bought one today but because of my inability to measure things correctly, I got the wrong size. SMRT. I'm going to move all my rescued zoos and ricordias into it as soon as I get it all organized.
