Good grief! Its been ages since I last posted anything. Well thats mostly because there is nothing to report. Isn't that awesome?? No algae plagues, no deaths, no nothing. Dang I'm actually beginning to appreciate this hobby. Who knew??
For those of you that are interested, I've posted a new tank pic. Pretty darned tootin if you ask me. Everyone is a happy camper in my tank. The regal has cleared up nicely, not quite ick free but pretty close. I can honestly say I'm almost turned off garlic for good. That kent stuff is pretty rank but it works so I'll tolerate it.
Hmm what else, oh yes, I have red bugs. Whee. But I already knew that, I just can't remember if I posted it. For those of you that don't know what red bugs are go here or here or here. And for a wicked video of the little buggers in action go here. They are actually a species of parasitic amphipod, specific to Acropora. I had hoped that they were localized to a single acro but silly me, when you put more than one acro in a tank you're gonna get more bugs! Duh! Sometimes I am not so smrt. :P So far I'm not seeing any major detriment but I think I'd rather treat the tank than let it do its thing and who knows what happens. I can't imagine my poor little frags are appreciating many mucous eating critters crawling all over them. I hope to treat the tank soon but not until my ship comes in (ie. I get paid) :P

I'm so happy that all is going well after all you endured. What happened to your regal? I'm glad the first I read was "The regal has cleared up nicely" (wipes brow and sighs)
I hope I can have your preseverance (sp?) in this hobby.
Cyno alone is killing me right now.
Haha, all is well with the fishies. It was a bit touch and go there for awhile, mostly me freaking out about it :p
Perserverance?? Nah, its mostly stubbornness. I haven't spent this much money so far to just chuck it all!! ;)
