So my tank as decided to hell with the dinos once again and moved onto the brown yuck algae that astreas like ( I believe I called it the brown squidgy back in September). So once again I'm off to the store to buy a new crop of astreas. I still have two leftover from the last bout and, of course, the ever hardy turbo snails that seem to survive anything. Maybe since my tank is being so good to me, I'll buy it something nice ;)
On another note, my Aquatic Essentials calcium reactor from Ocean Aquatics is on the move. I can't believe the amount of reactor media its gone through in the last two months. I was looking at it today and its just unreal. I guess I finally figured out how to dial it in. It was mostly laziness that was thwarting me earlier :P
Hmm, what else. Oh well of course now that I'm done war with the dinos (through no cause of my own, they just went away on their own this time, I think the tank knew I meant business when I said I was thinking about selling it), the caulerpa is having a gay old time whooping it up. Which unfortunately means that I have to get in there and harvest it again. Oh whee. What fun. I can hardly control myself.
God I love this hobby. I'd be so incredibly bored without it :P
