Christy's Reef

Well I've done everything I can think of to get rid of this damned algae. I guess I will just let mother nature run its toll at this point. It seems alot of people around here have had problems with their tanks and I'm just another victim, albeit of my own stupidity (ie. don't mess with a good thing). I'm trying some stuff called Purigen from Seachem, its supposed to take nutrients out of the water. Other than that and running carbon I don't know what else I can do other than take the tank down. This stuff has to die sometime doesn't it?? That stupid book of Julian Sprungs doesn't have anything constructive to say about this bloody stuff other than the fact that it kills snails and nobody is interested in eating it. I've done all the other junk though, increasing alk, dripping kalk and running carbon. Meh, I'm tired of this crap.
