Well its looking more and more like I'm back to square one with this stupid tank. Same algae with some green hair underneath the dinos/diatoms. Man I sure have a green thumb. I got a couple of conches and some snails to combat the problem but the increasing population of dinos in the tank makes me think they're just going to be an offering to the evil algae gods. I don't know what else I can do to turn this damned tank around.
Well the heat wave has hit. I came home to the tank at 87 degrees yesterday. Today it maxed out at about 82. I put a couple more fans on the sump and left the doors to the stand open. I think I'm going to decrease the photoperiod for awhile too just until this crappy heatwave is over. So far everything is faring fine in the tank and no losses so far, but its only the beginning of summer so hopefully I can keep it cool.
