So I ended up getting even more live rock later on Friday nite. Someone was selling it locally so I picked up quite a bit (well it doesn't weigh much so it looks like quite a bit). Some of it had some ugly fast growing zoos on it so I decided to pick them off.
NOTE TO SELF (for next time of course): wear gloves and safety goggles when dealing with squidgy zoos!!
One of the little @#(! shot me in the eye and I now have conjunctivitis. Not to mention one if my fingers is so swollen it feels like its gonna explode. I've gotten it under control but let me tell you, I wasn't feelin so hot on friday night :( Guess there is some truth to those threads on RDO and RC.
Of course, as a result, I haven't gotten the rock in theh tank yet. I'm just gonna let those little buggers die on there (or whats left of them) for awhile in a rubbermaid container.
In the meantime, I've got dinoflagellates to deal with. Oh the joy continues... ;)
