Well my intense boredom at home has led to fiddling around with the tank even more than usual. I added some rock to the nano. Not much, I'd still like to get one or two more pieces just to get the more colorful yumas closer to the light. I also did some messing around with the plumbing (once again I bought the wrong bulkhead). I just attached a "Y" fitting for the loc-line as the majority of the flow was unidirectional and the one side of the tank wasn't getting much action. Now the flow is divided between the two sides. I'm thinking perhaps I need a bit more flow but I think everyone seems pretty happy in there. They're certainly growing fast thats for sure.
As well I got a couple more zoos from Ontario in a group buy. These ones called fijis and these ones called starbursts. The starbursts are actually supposed to be blue but they lost most of it and I hope it comes back. Just what I need, yet another pink zoo to add to my collection (I have 5 different types now). I also got a couple of freebies, one intentional and one not so much. The second one must have been a little hangy bit that fell off. I thought it was just a rock shard but it had a single polyp on it, which I am currently coveting, so if you're reading this and its yours, its mine now! Muahahahahah!
Ok updates for the big tank. Well in a last ditch attempt to not only save my SPS from demise but to figure out WTF is going on in the tank, I've built a frag rack to see if indeed it is crabs that are picking away at my SPS one polyp at a time. Iv'e noticed that those frags that are on the bottom of the tank don't get touched, and those frags that had issues that I broke off a piece and put it on the bottom of the tank for mounting later on (like waaay later) have started to regrow over the ugly bits. So I've broken off alot of the affected frags and put them on the frag rack to see if they'll continue to decline or start new growth. I guess only time will tell.
