Oh the tank looks so pretty. I find myself spending more time looking at it now that it doesn't look like a field of browny green sludge. The rocks are so nice and clean. I didn't usually go in for that "sterile rock" look, you know where there is absolutely nothing on the rock. But I must say, I really am appreciating it more and more because well, you know the alternative... :P

Well, hmm what more can I say. By this point I am waxing on and on about all the problems I'm having. Now that I'm not having any, I guess these blogs will be pretty darned short. Hehe. Ah no fear of that, I can always ramble on about something.

Oh last week, a few days after I got the tank going again, my stupid Ebo Jaeger heater stuck on. The tank was at 86F before I noticed. Not too too bad but it could have been disastrous if I hadn't stuck my hand in there. Anyway, I've replaced the faulty 250W heater with 2 150W Ebo Jaegers. Yes yes, I know what you're all thinking. Why stick with the same brand that failed you?? Well 2 reasons: Firstly, I've been using them for years and never had a problem, not to say that I won't have a problem again but I figured I'd give them another try, besides, it seems that every brand has a reported failure associated with them from what I could find out. Secondly, I have 2 150s sitting around not being used so rather than go out and spend money I don't have on some other brand that may fail just the same, I might as well use them rather than have them sitting around collecting dust.
