Christy's Reef

So I'm going into my fourth week of zeovit. So far so good, although I just noticed today that my pink pocilipora is starting to show signs of tissue necrosis. Its doing that "whithered" thing again, it normally looks like this. I also noticed that lately my lined blenny seems to be MIA and I strongly suspect my pygmy hawkfish. Why won't I EVER learn!!?

Its been awhile since I posted, since then I went to a reefers swapmeet a couple of weekends ago and almost escaped unscathed. Lets face it, I'm never gonna be able to pass stuff up. Ever. I got a few things, this neat frag, a frag from a friend that I'd been lusting over for quite some time and a nice blastomussa from Ocean Aquatics.

I also picked up some Reefers Best Salt which I've done one waterchange with. I kind of got tired of dosing all the time only to have my waterchanges with IO dilute it again. Kind of pisses me off to see that TN on the poci as 1. I did the entire 10% with just the RBS not mixed (which maybe I should be doing??) and 2. I bought 2 boxes of the stuff so it had better not suck!! I must say though, that poci has to be one of the pissiest corals ever. Someone 5 blocks away uses bathroom spray and its doing the whithered look. It takes weeks for it to recover too, although I don't know if its going to recover this time. I have no idea what its problem is as most everything else is doing okay (when I say most I'm talking about my cyano issue which hasn't been resolved yet).

So I'm going to try posting photos in my blog instead of hotlinking them. I'm not really sure what I'm doing so be patient.
