Ok so new stuff, finally got some pics tonight. Good thing I wrote the names down, I've already forgotten them :P

A. abrotanoides
A. abrolhoensis needs to be turned around, all the color is on the other side :p
A. tortuosa "cali tort"
A. nasuta
bonus: green sky

Pretty nice stuff. Of course they're nicer in person, I have yet to figure out this camera an dits various issues with getting the colors right. One day :P

So the cyano is still hanging around. A little more than usual, I always seemed to have a couple patches of it at the right hand end of the tank. Its still localized in that area but tormenting what is left of my red blastomussa which I fear is near the end (it got hit very badly by the july heatwave last year and never really recovered) theres only one polyp left now :(

So I'm going to do the switch from ultralith to zeovit. I really like the fact that zeovit seems to be far more and better supported than ultralith. it seems Fauna Marin is finally getting its act together (or at least Aqua-Digital is) and they seem to be more "available" for answering questions and such. In my case this is too little too late. I would imagine that yes, I have finally gotten the ultralith system to work for me, however its not quite as "successful" as I had hoped it would be. As well, I'm really impressed with the success I've had with the coral snow and coral vitalizer. I'm still waiting on a zeovit reactor which I've purchased from someone in Calgary so as soon as that arrives I'll be ready to roll.

So I'm just going to start with the basic 4 for the first bit. I'm not a very patient person so I've already gone ahead and purchased Pohl's Xtra, the Potassium-Iodide-Fluoride concentrate, Zeo Amino Acids and Sponge Power. I did jump the gun and dosed some of the AA's and Sponge Power tonight though. I'll wait on the PIF and Pohls Xtra though and let the system settle in first. Apparently doing the switch over is quite easy, just stop dosing the FM and start with the zeo. Somehow I doubt it will not be that easy for me. It never seems to be... :P

And a few other corals I took pics of tonight :)

Orange Ricordea
Tropical Paradise (A. cerealis) frag
Pink Pocillipora
Yellow Seriatopora caliendrum
