Had to refill my CO2 tank this week. It lasted longer than last time (2 months) but still I had refilled it at the end of November so not a heck of a lot longer. Sucky as this Schuran Jetstream Pico calcium reactor is supposed to be super efficient and recirculate the CO2 so it would use less. I'm not seeing it.
Not much new to report in the tank. Things are coming along nicely and coloring up. I'm hoping its from the Ultralith and that it can only get better from here :) I did notice today however that my tricolor acro that was having burned tip issues is yet again having the same issues. It seems to be the only one affected and I'm not sure what is up with that. I suppose some water changes may be necessary. I've sort of fallen back on the water changes, instead of doing my weekly 10% I've been doing them biweekly for the most part. The tank is still looking good and it hasn't affected the tank to my knowledge but who knows whats going on in there on a microscopic level.
I borrowed a friends lens for my camera and took some new photos. I was so impressed I bit the bullet and bought the lens for myself :) Its a telephoto lens that I was using with extension tubes to simulate a macro effect. I purchased the tubes on ebay and they haven't arrived yet, but you'll know when they arrive as I'll be posting new pics all over the place ;)
