Christy's Reef

Well the chiller fuse blew again. I think it might be too close to the wall. At any rate, I guess I'll have to buy a fan to get more air circulation back there. It has a thing for blowing fuses on Fridays, luckily I still have half a pack of fuses to go :P

The crocea clam is doing fabulously well. Still gaping a bit at times, but the hole in the bottom has closed up. Its looking pretty awesome as well, better coloration and such.

I haven't seen much of a change in coloration of the corals, some of the blues are looking nice but I think thats just a matter of acclimating to my lighting than anything else. I guess the faunamarin stuff won't kick in for awhile longer yet, I'm just too impatient :P

Also I finally got a photo of a "new" hitchhiker. A longspined urchin. I had seen it during the tank move (it was considerably smaller then) and I'm not sure at what point it made it into my tank as I haven't added any rock lately. It must have come in on a coral or something. Pretty tiny hitchhiker if it did. Anyway, a pretty neat addition to the tank. I hope he munches down on some caulerpa or something. More likely I'll forget he's in there and get stuck with one of his spines :P
