My tank never ceases to amaze me. This afternoon when I finally got a chance to look in the tank, the first thing I noticed, is that yet another SPS is STNing on me. Wow I'm so very shocked...not! Well its the same one as before, just another branch went. I was thinking about fragging it but hell if it wants to go it will go. Anyhoo, yet another disappointing moment in tankdom.

However, I looked down towards the bottom of the tank and there was a blinding white "button" . At first I thought "bastard zoo eating nudibranch!!" I had finally found my nemesis. Upon further inspection, I found it to be a completely white ricordea. At first I thought maybe one of my rics split. But why would it be white? I mean we're talking seriously white here, you see in the photo, just a little thin ring of greeny color. Besides, none of the rics had that pinched off look they get after splitting. So my theory now is that several of my rics went missing several months ago. This little guy managed to get just enough light to survive and eventually made it back into the light where I could grab him and move him somewhere safe. Anyways he's recovering in a seperate tank, a 5 gallon that I set up for all of my zoos so they don't get munched on anymore.
