Okay, okay so I went back to get the royal gramma. What can I say? I'm a sucker. True to point, when I got it home I discovered that a goodly portion of its tail had been chomped off by something. Crappy LFS lighting I didn't see any aggressive fish in the tank it was in but who knows, maybe some rogue crab chomped it off during the night. Anyway so far so good, hes a bit of a late sleeper and comes out about an hour after the lights come on but is out in the open and eats like a horse which is always good.

I've noticed a resurgence in the caulerpa, I guess I've gotten cocky and have been feeding the tank more often since I got the Euroreef. I'll have to be more careful so I can get rid of that scourge or at least keep it in check.

All of my frags are doing really well. Check out this insane polyp extension on my acro frag. And the tiniest frogspawn I've ever seen.

So I was checking through my blog archives and I'm 2 months dino free so far. 61 days to be exact. I nerded out and made a spreadsheet to see if I could find some sort of pattern. Of course I didn't, why would my tank be that easy?? Anyway, 71 days has been my record so far so I guess I'll know soon whether the inevitable is going to happen. I like to think that I'm past all that. I don't know if I can do another round of dinos again. I'm just starting to feel good about my tank. One thing after reading all those archives, man I should have been on some Prozac or something: mood is up, mood is down, mood is up, mood is down, eventually it just levelled off to an "I don't care phase". I guess I thought I could outsmart them with that one
