Christy's Reef

My tank totally sucks donkey. The dinoflagellates are rampant and quite frankly I think I may be coming to the end. This is just getting bloody ridiculous. At least 6 months a year I am fighting these little bastards off. I just wish I could figure out where they are coming from, I'm at a total loss as to how to fight them as well. So I've decided to get into freshwater planted tanks. At least I'm doing pretty well with those. I needed some sort of entertainment and had a couple 5.5 gallon setups hanging around doing nothing so I figured I could set one up for relatively nothing. All I basically needed was fish and some plants. Anyway, one thing led to another and I ended up setting up two tanks. The first was set up in late September and the other one was late October.
