Well tonight, I've decided something has to be done about my lighting. I was taking some pictures and I just can't get any of the SPS to appear the right color on my camera no matter how I adjust the white balance. It couldn't possibly be anything wrong with my camera! Must be the tank. :P I think I'm gonna slap some VHO actinics on there. I mean as much as I love the Iwasaki, they do tend to make things a little on the yellow side and my NO actinics just aren't cutting it.
While I'm at it, I've decided I need a 1" Seaswirl, a mag 12, a wavemaker and a bigger sump. I think at this point about all I can do is a bigger sump. Unless I win the lottery tomorrow ;) My sump is just too darn short. I think it needs at least another 6 inches, maybe even 8. I guess that will be my little project.
Oh and I modified my maxijet powerheads lastnight after finding out about it in a thread on ReefCentral. I just hacked off the outlet and hooked it up to a "wavemaker". Actually I'm using christmas light blinkys for now, until I get a wavemaker. Don't laugh, they work! :P I'm a DIYer now baby! I think I'm gonna go play with powertools now...:P
